Our country is increasingly devoting itself to the creation of new-generation urban planning projects dedicated to cycling.<\/p>\n
There are many improvements for soft mobility, the protection and maintenance of urban spaces and, above all, nature.<\/p>\n
The image of Urban Ecosystem 2021 is closely linked to the environmental resources of Italy's regional capitals.<\/p>\n
Cities such as Trento, Mantua, Bolzano and Reggio Emilia have already taken steps to implement projects to improve the already existing Urban Ecosystem.<\/p>\n
The main idea is to create a network of almost 25 kilometres of cycle paths to improve urban mobility and develop tourism.<\/p>\n
A large investment of around 2.5 million euro that will allow our country to embrace the concept of eco-sustainability even more.<\/p>\n
It will be very important to exploit the railway's potential to promote the tourist use of the centre through cycle and pedestrian routes.<\/p>\n
There are 8 million euro of EU funds dedicated to the Urban Agenda, all of which will be earmarked for soft mobility.<\/p>\n
The goal is to build new cycle paths in the main crossing routes and adapt existing ones within 24 months.<\/p>\n
In Cosenza, a project is already taking shape for an urban park of about 2 km that will connect the historic centre with the new town.<\/p>\n
Most of the slopes will be designed according to European standards, with zero-impact solutions and state-of-the-art landscaping.<\/p>\n
The routes will have rest areas where one can refresh oneself and will also be equipped with benches and fountains.<\/p>\n
The project also envisages a green oasis with themed gardens, vegetable gardens and even a fitness area that can be practised outdoors.<\/p>\n
All we have to do is wait for the end of the work to enjoy a well-deserved green wellbeing.<\/p>\n
