Recently, Sara, a customer of ours from Turin, had an unpleasant experience: her bicycle was stolen. Fortunately, this story had a happy ending. Thanks to her foresight, having chosen a model with the DonnoSafe anti-theft system, Sara was able to recover her bike.<\/p>\n

An unexpected theft<\/h3>\n

On Sunday 3 November, our customer found herself in a bad situation: her bicycle was stolen right off the street. It was firmly tied to a pole right in front of her house. It seemed a safe place, yet the thieves did not stop at a simple barrier. They tore down the pole and took the bike away.<\/p>\n

Immediate reaction with DonnoSafe<\/h3>\n

As soon as she realised that the bicycle was missing, our customer opened the DonnoSafe app, and the system immediately showed her the location of the bicycle. The GPS coordinates indicated a nearby residential building. However, it appeared that the bike was about 15 metres below ground level, which suggested that it was in a basement.<\/p>\n

At the time of the arrest, the thief had already repainted the bicycle black. However, thanks to DonnoSafe, the stolen bike was recovered and the thief suffered the consequences.<\/p>\n
