Right to object to data collection in particular cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF DATA PROCESSING TAKES PLACE ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6.1.E-F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA, INCLUDING PROFILING ON THE BASIS OF THESE PROVISIONS. THE LEGAL BASIS OF THE INDIVIDUAL PROCESSING OPERATIONS IS INDICATED IN THIS DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION. IN THE EVENT OF YOUR OBJECTION, WE WILL REFRAIN FROM FURTHER PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA, UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE THE EXISTENCE OF COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21.1 GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU CARRIED OUT FOR SUCH PURPOSES, INCLUDING PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IN CASE OF YOUR OBJECTION, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL NO LONGER BE PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES FROM THEN ON (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21.2 OF THE GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of a breach of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, namely in the Member State where they habitually reside, work or where the alleged breach occurred. This right exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to demand that the data we process by automated means on the basis of your consent or for the purpose of the performance of a contract be delivered to you or to third parties in a commonly used, machine-readable format. In the event that you request the direct transmission of data to another data controller, the transmission will only be carried out if technically feasible.
Access, cancellation and rectification
Within the limits of the legal provisions in force, you have the right of access at any time and free of charge to your personal data and to information on their origin, recipients and the purpose of the processing, as well as in certain cases the right to rectification or deletion of such data. To exercise these rights or receive further clarification on your personal data, you may contact us at any time at the address given in the legal section.
Right of restriction of processing
You have the right to obtain the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To this end, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal section. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of personal data stored by us, we normally need time to verify that this data is accurate. For the period of verification you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If your personal data are or have been unlawfully processed, you can request the restriction of their processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but such data is necessary for you to exercise, defend or establish a legal claim, you have the right to request, instead of the deletion of your personal data, the restriction of their processing.
- If you have objected under Article 21.1 GDPR, a weighing of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as it has not been clarified which interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have opted for the restriction of the processing of your personal data, such data may only be processed - except for storage - with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of substantial public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

If your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures, these data are processed on the basis of Art. 6.1.b GDPR. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the efficient processing of requests sent to us (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) or your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) if you have been asked for it.
The data you enter in the contact form remain stored with us until you request their deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose of data storage ceases (e.g. once the processing of your request has been completed). By visiting this website, the plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. In this way, Facebook is informed that you and your IP address have visited this website. By clicking on the Facebook "Like" button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of this website to your Facebook profile. In this way Facebook can associate your visit to this website with your user account. We would like to point out that as the provider of this website, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Twitter plug-ins
Functions of the Twitter service are integrated on this website. These functions are offered by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. By using Twitter and the "re-tweet" function, websites visited by you are associated with your Twitter account and made known to other users. As part of this process, a transmission of data to Twitter also occurs. We would like to point out that as the provider of the website we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or of their use by Twitter. For further information, please refer to Twitter's data protection declaration, available at the following address: https://twitter.com/it/privacy,

6. Analysis Tools
Google Analytics
This website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics, offered by Google Ireland Limited ('Google'), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The saving of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6.1.f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. If special consent has been requested (e.g. consent to save cookies), the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6.1.a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
IP anonymity
On this website, we have activated the IP anonymisation function, whereby your IP address is abbreviated by Google within member states of the European Union or other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing them other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser through Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.
Browser plug-ins
You can prevent the saving of cookies by means of the corresponding software setting in your browser software; we must point out, however, that in this case some functions of the website may not be available. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing data about your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following address: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it.
Opposition to data collection
You can prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by clicking on the link below. This will set an opt-out cookie that will prevent the collection of your data during future visits to this website: deactivating Google Analytics, https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it.

7. Plug-ins and tools
YouTube in enhanced privacy mode
YouTube videos are integrated on this website. The operator of the YouTube pages is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in the advanced privacy mode. According to YouTube's statement, in this mode YouTube does not save information about visitors to this website before they have viewed the video. Using the advanced privacy mode, however, does not necessarily exclude the transmission of data to YouTube's partners. For instance, regardless of whether or not you are viewing a video, YouTube establishes a connection to Google's DoubleClick network.
When you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection is established with the YouTube servers, through which the YouTube server is told which of our pages you have visited. In addition, if you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube is able to directly associate your surfing behaviour with your personal profile. You can prevent this association by logging out of your YouTube account.
After starting a video, YouTube can also save various cookies on your device, through which it can receive information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to compile statistics about the videos, improve user-friendliness and prevent scam attempts. Cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them.
In some cases, the launch of a YouTube video may give rise to other data processing operations, which are, however, outside our sphere of influence.
The use of YouTube is part of our interest in a pleasant presentation of our website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6.1.f GDPR. If special consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6.1.a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
For further information on data protection by YouTube, please refer to the data protection declaration available at the following address: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=it.
Google Maps
This website uses an API of the Google Maps service, offered by Google Ireland Limited ('Google'), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The use of Google Maps functions requires the saving of your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The transmission of this data is outside the sphere of influence of the operator of this website.
The use of Google Maps is part of our interest in presenting our website in an attractive manner and in ensuring that the places called up on our website can easily be found. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6.1.f GDPR. If special consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6.1.a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
Further information on the handling of user data can be found in Google's data protection declaration: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=it.
8. E-commerce and payment service providers
Data processing (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent necessary for the establishment, definition of content and amendment of legal relationships (contractual data). These operations are based on Art. 6.1.b GDPR as the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of this website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable you to use the services or for the purpose of billing you.
Collected customer data are deleted following completion of the order or at the end of the business relationship. This is subject to statutory retention periods.
Transmission of data when concluding contracts with online shops, retailers or for the shipment of articles
We only pass on personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of a contract, e.g. to the companies entrusted with the dispatch of articles or to the credit institution entrusted with the execution of payments. Any other transmission of data is excluded, unless you have expressly consented to the transmission. Your data is not passed on to third parties, e.g. for marketing purposes, without your express consent.
The basis of the processing is Article 6.1.b GDPR, as the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
9. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need your e-mail address and other information to enable us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address entered and that you have consented to receive the newsletter. The collection of other data, except on an optional basis, is excluded. This data is used exclusively for sending the requested information and is not passed on to third parties.
The data entered in the newsletter subscription form are processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Consent to the storage of the data and e-mail address and the use of the e-mail address for the purpose of sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time via the "Cancel" link contained in the newsletter. Revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out.
The data that you have provided to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter are retained by us or by the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and following your unsubscription will be deleted from the newsletter mailing list. This deletion does not affect the data stored by us for other purposes.
After you have been removed from the newsletter mailing list, your e-mail address will possibly be kept by us or the newsletter service provider on a black list in order to prevent further e-mails from being sent. The data on the black list are only used for this purpose and are not combined with other data. This is done in your and our interest in compliance with the legal regulations regarding the sending of newsletters (legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6.1.f GDPR). The retention of blacklisted data is not subject to time limits. You can only object to this retention if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
10. Internal Services
Our social media pages
We operate a number of public profiles on social networks. The individual social networks we use are listed below.
In principle, social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. are able to carry out a comprehensive analysis of your behaviour as a user, e.g. by visiting their websites or other websites on which social network content is integrated (e.g. the 'Like' button or banner advertisements). Visiting our social media pages gives rise to a number of data protection-relevant processing operations. Specifically:
If you are logged into your account on a social media platform and visit our page on that social media platform, the operator of the social media platform in question may associate this visit with your user account. In certain cases, however, your personal data may be collected even if you are not logged into the account or do not have an account on that social media outlet. In this case, data is collected by means of cookies, which are saved on your device, or by the collection of your IP address.
The data collected in this way can be used by social media operators to create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. These profiles make it possible to show you interest-based advertisements both within and outside the social media page in question. If you have an account on a given social network, interest-based advertisements may be activated on all devices through which you are or have been connected to your account.
We would also like to point out that we are not able to trace all processing performed on social media. Depending on the service provider, it is therefore possible in some cases that social media operators also carry out other processing. For further details, please refer to the terms of use and data protection provisions of the individual social media.
Legal basis
The purpose of our social media pages is to ensure that our presence on the Internet is as widespread as possible. This presence represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6.1.f GDPR. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may possibly have different legal bases, which must be indicated by the operators of the social networks (e.g. a consent within the meaning of Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
Data controller and exercise of rights
By visiting one of our pages on a social media platform (e.g. Facebook), we and the operators of the social media platform are joint controllers for all processing operations arising from this visit. In principle, you can exercise your rights (access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) both against us and against the operators of the social media platform in question (e.g. against Facebook).
Please note, however, that although we are joint controllers with the social media providers, not all processing operations of social media portals fall within our sphere of influence. Our room for manoeuvre in this respect essentially depends on the corporate policy of the individual providers.
Duration of data retention
The data we collect directly from our social media pages are deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose of their storage ceases, you request their deletion or revoke your consent to their storage. Saved cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. This is subject to the applicable legal provisions, in particular with regard to retention periods.
The duration of retention of your data by social media operators for their own purposes is beyond our influence. For more details, we invite you to inform yourself directly with the operators of the social networks (e.g. by consulting their data protection declarations, for which please refer to the following section).
