Yesterday was a very intense day.
I go against the grain to say that the portal, considering the turnout, was well managed. No portal in the world is capable of handling such concentrated traffic.
Several problems were detected with Poste ID, the main provider of the SPID identity. InfoCert also had its moments of blocking. This is related to the popularity of these providers, which have seen very concentrated requests in a very short period of time.
The idea of the waiting room, hated by everyone, was nevertheless very useful and allowed us to handle millions of people. Despite the fact that at a certain moment we saw 600,000 people in front of us in the waiting room, we managed to get in.
So the watchword was not to give up. Yesterday we were in direct contact with hundreds of our customers late into the night. We guided, helped and encouraged them to keep going.
All of our customers who contacted us were able to successfully request a refund.

By around midnight the queue was gone and the service was accessed quickly with a ceiling still more than half full.
Again this morning, everything was flowing well, but the funds were running out with surprising speed. By 9.30 a.m. it was no longer possible to apply, and by 9.45 a.m. the funds ran out completely.
However, we urge all our customers who have not been able to claim reimbursement to keep their invoices and be patient, we have a strong promise from Costa that there will be new funds to cover bicycle purchases from the 4 May 2020 until 3 November 2020!
